A vibrant stay with a twist
The staff made our stay memorable with their helpfulness, and the room was spacious and clean. The view from our window was a delightful surprise, especially at sunset.
The dining experience fell short. the bar food was tasty but quite pricey for the portion sizes. Parking was also a bit of a maze, which added to the hassle.

Spacious room, clean, well-kept. Staff friendly and helpful. Not much parking, very tight spots. Ideal base for fishing and hiking activities nearby.

The cozy communal areas provided a welcoming atmosphere to unwind after a long journey. Enjoying a meal featuring locally caught fish was a culinary highlight, showcasing the hotel's dedication to quality. the tight parking situation posed a challenge, especially for larger vehicles. the room, while clean and spacious, appeared somewhat dated, needing a refresh to elevate the experience further. Late night access was seamless, thanks to the prompt night reception service.

Friendly staff make it tolerable
We stayed just for one night, and honestly, the staff really made it better. They were super friendly and helpful. The room itself—basic and a bit outdated—did the job for us. The in-room breakfast was a nice touch. Unfortunately, the parking situation is a bit of a nightmare, so that's worth thinking about.

The spacious room had a comfortable walk-in shower and clean beds, providing a decent level of comfort. The breakfast selection was impressive, particularly the fresh bread rolls that added a nice touch. noise from nearby events disrupted the peace at night, and the tight parking situation proved to be a hassle. Staff were friendly and accommodating, which somewhat softened the experience.

The breakfast options were a pleasant surprise, offering plenty of variety, and I loved enjoying drinks by the cozy fireplace. It was nice to unwind with some live music after a long day, making the atmosphere feel special. On a minor note, the Wi-Fi connection wasn’t the strongest, but it didn’t dampen my overall experience. 😊

The common areas have that charming vintage decor, almost like walking through a cozy museum! I felt right at home, and it was wonderfully accessible for us seniors—no steep stairs here to make us worry about a tumble!
A ceiling fan in the room would help.

The location is superb, right in the heart of town, making it easy to explore without needing a speeder. Dinner at the pub was surprisingly good with an excellent selection of Italian wines that added a nice touch to the meal.
The room I was in wasn’t what I would call modern—worn-out fixtures and a number of repairs clearly overdue, like the main light fixture that was never wired in, which is a real head-scratcher. Plus, the noise from the nearby pub kept me up longer than I'd like, especially with occasional loud music and drum beats. There was also a shortage of cold water at night due to the heating, which just seems a bit odd. Lastly, the parking is tight. if you’ve got anything larger than a speeder bike, you might find it a hassle.
